Bake with Anne | How to make Ube Bar!



Ingredients you will need:

For the bread:
4 cups of all purpose flour
1 packet of yeast
1/2 cup and 1 tbsp of sugar
1 tspn of salt
2/3 cup of warm water
2/3 cup of milk
1/4 cup of melted butter (room temperature)
1 tbsp of ube extract
1 cup of desiccated coconut

For the syrup:
1 1/2 cups of water
1 tbsp of ube extract
3 cups of powdered sugar

Cook with Anne | How to cook Chicken Afritada!


This dish is my husband's recipe. It's a Filipino chicken stew dish that is very savory with freshly made white rice. I hope you enjoy.

Ingredients you will need:
2 lbs. bite size Chicken
Salt & Pepper to taste
3 cloves of garlic
1/2 onions
1 chicken cube
1 small can of tomato sauce
1 cup of water
1 small carrot
1 large potatoes
1/2 green bell peppers

Cook with Anne | How to make Sinampalukang Manok!




This is a Filipino sour dish that is very good with white rice. Great for cold weather.

Ingredients you will need:
2 lbs of chicken
1 small ginger
3 cloves of garlic
1/2 onion
2 chili pepper
Tamarind leaves 
1/2 packet of sampalok flavor mix
2 tbsp of fish sauce
1 cup of water

Cook with Anne | Easy Adobong Pusit Recipe!


This is one of my favorite Filipino dish that my Mom use to always cook whenever she's home from work. Thought I'd share her recipe, it's super easy and can be done under 20 minutes!!! I hope you enjoy!


Ingredients you will need:
12 pcs of squid (cut in small pieces)
3 cloves of garlic
1/2 onion
2 small tomatoes
2 tbsp of fish sauce/salt
pinch of pepper
3 tbsp of vinegar

Baking with Anne: How to make Pandesal!




Pandesal is a filipino bread roll commonly eaten in the morning for breakfast with coffee.

Ingredients you will need:

First process:
1 cup of flour 
2/3 cup of warm water
1 tbsp of sugar
1 package of yeast
1/2 tsp of salt 

Second Process:
3 cups of flour
2/3 cup milk (room temp.)
1/4 cup melted butter 
1 egg 
1/2 cup sugar 

Third Process:
1 tsp oil

Final Process:
1 cup of bread crumbs

NOW IT'S READY TO BE BAKED AT 375 DEG. FOR 20 MINUTES!!!
